Total Appliance Group Story
Total Appliance Group started when we took over the business 30 years ago. At that time small appliance repair was a good business because people repaired things.
As time progressed we added electronics, audio, video, microwaves, commercial repairs, in home repairs, parts and product sales. As the factories produced cheaper appliances, consumers opted to throw away rather than repair.
The consumer demanded cheaper products and the manufacturers filled that need. Fast forward 30 years and the land fill, oceans, and the environment has finally caught up with industry.
Total Appliance Group is still trying to get people to repair, rather than throw away. You can buy parts and fix it yourself if you don't have the time or money to bring the item to a shop for repair.
As long as people want to repair and buy parts,

Total Appliance Group began in a small shop in Huntington. Thirty years ago we moved to our location at 809 Middle Country RD, St. James, New York.
For 30 years, our business has shrunk and expanded at the same time.
Some brands no longer needed service centers because people were throwing away everything and buying new rather than repairing a perfectly good piece of equipment.
Some brands found us and valued what we had to offer, appreciated the great service, the full stock of parts, the quick turnaround time, the support that only a service center can provide.
Consumers continued to find us when they needed and we reached out to find more and more customers. Our commercial division grew, as did our website.
Like a phoenix, we just keep reshaping our company and finding a way to continue serving all our customers and our community.

Some equipment just needs a few adjustments or a minor repair. A few parts and your appliance is as good as new. When you throw the item away, the entire ecosystem suffers.
Our pricing policy allows our customers to pay a fair price for the part or repair all the time. We don't want you to waste your time trying to a save a dollar or two, running around trying to get a better price. All things we offer will make you want to shop with us again and again.
